  • Instagram: CEO Adam Mosseri has pivoted the algorithm toward “Originality Signals” to counter AI-generated “slop.” High-engagement formats like Reels and Carousels are now mandatory for organic reach, as Meta tests restrictions on organic link-sharing for unverified pages.
  • TikTok: Confirming it will not add end-to-end encryption to DMs, TikTok is doubling down on “Social Search,” which now accounts for over 60% of product discovery for Gen Z, vastly outpacing traditional Google search.
  • YouTube: A massive March rollout includes Automated Product Tagging (AI identifies mentions and tags products automatically) and a new “Recover Tab” in Studio for appealing content strikes. Auto-dubbing is now available to all creators, effectively removing language barriers for global reach.
